Investment project for EMC Agro farm expansion has been put into operation

In August 2021, investment project was put into operation to expand a pig farm for slaughtering commercial herd from 50,000 to 100,000 cattle per year for the production of pork meat and sausage products in Taiynsha, North Kazakhstan region.
Total cost of the investment project is KZT 5.2 bln., including KZT 3.9 bln. investments of Baiterek Venture Fund JSC.
The Fund resources were used for construction and installation works, purchase of equipment for animal housing, as well as for purchase of breeding livestock and replenishment of turnover means.
The Project has created 270 permanent jobs. When the Project reaches its planned capacity, it is expected that the volume of tax payments to the budget will amount to more than KZT 228 mln. per year, while the product sales volume will exceed KZT 11 bln. It is also planned to enter the export markets, namely the Russian Federation and China, within the framework of the Project.
Financing was carried out under Concessional Financing Program of Kazyna Capital Management JSC.
