The first high-tech plant for the production of ready-made semi-finished has been launched in Kazakhstan

IL-TOV LLP, the first high-tech plant in Kazakhstan and the Central Asian region for the production of ready-made semi-finished products from chicken breast fillets, has been launched in Kosshy, Akmola region.

The project was implemented with the support of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC (a subsidiary of Baiterek NMH JSC).

The product line includes cutlets, schnitzels, meatballs, strips and nuggets brought to readiness by 100% and subjected to subsequent shock freezing.

The new plant uses the products of Makinsk Poultry Farm LLP as raw materials, which was previously also financed by Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC.

The opening of the plant allowed to create 90 new jobs and provide them mainly to Kosshy residents. At the moment, the capacity of the production line is 3,346 tons of finished products per year.

It is important to note that until now, products similar to those produced by IL-TOV LLP have been almost completely imported to Kazakhstan from neighboring countries.

Meanwhile, in a Message to the people in September 2023, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.J.Tokayev stressed the need to create production facilities with a high degree of localization, which will reduce Kazakhstan's dependence on imports.

In turn, IL-TOV LLP plans to increase the production capacity of the plant to 10-12 thousand tons of products per year in the future, achieving almost complete import substitution with Kazakhstan products. At the same time, it is planned to increase the staff to 150 jobs.
