The Chairman of the Management Board of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation, Didar Karimsakov, participated in the international forum GITEX AI Kazakhstan dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence and the digital economy.

In his remarks, it was noted that Central Asia is moving beyond its status as a “market of the future” and is becoming a growth point of the global technological agenda. Kazakhstan is shaping its role in this process by developing its startup ecosystem and creating conditions for the inflow of technological capital.

A key emphasis was placed on the role of capital: sustainable development is only possible when technological potential is transformed into investment projects and scalable business models.

Particular attention was given to the concept of sovereign artificial intelligence as a tool for building a domestic value chain — from data to infrastructure.

According to Didar Karimsakov, the strongest investment potential today lies in applied AI solutions, while the next stage of growth is linked to infrastructure development, including data centers and computing capacity.
