New CEO Appointed at BGlobal Ventures

A new Chief Executive Officer of the subsidiary of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC (QIC) BGlobal Ventures has been appointed. This was Nurzhan Kadirkey.

Nurzhan Kadirkey previously held the position of Managing Director at the QIC where he was engaged in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI) and fostering partnerships in the venture capital sector. Mr. Kadirkey’s expertise includes structuring deals in the field of private equity (direct investments) and venture capital, as well as establishing strategic partnerships to stimulate sustainable economic growth.

Under Mr. Kadirkey’s leadership, BGlobal Ventures aims to strengthen its role in the development of the startup ecosystem in Kazakhstan and Central Eurasia, actively support technological and innovative startups by providing access to investments and international investor communities, promote angel and venture investments through educational programs for business angels and aspiring fund managers, and continue efforts to build a sustainable ecosystem.
