Ussen Galym

Usen Galym, born in 1983, citizen of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Baiterek National Managing Holding Baiterek JSC.

Since January 31, 2024, he has been elected as a member of the Board of Directors of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC. By the decision of the Board of Directors dated February 5, 2024, he was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation JSC.

Education:

• Harvard University, Kennedy School of Public Administration (Massachusetts, USA), Master of Public Administration (2023)
• Osaka University, Faculty of Economics (Osaka, Japan), Bachelor of Economics and Business (2008)

Job experience:

• In 2008-2011, he worked as a developer at Simplex Inc. (Tokyo, Japan).
• In 2012-2018, he held various positions at Deloitte Tohmatsu Consulting LLC (Tokyo, Japan).
• In 2019-2020, he carried out the digitalization of the social and labor sphere, including as Director of the Department of Analysis and Development of Public Services of the
  Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• In 2020-2021, he held the position of Director of the Department of Digitalization of Corporate Solutions at BI Innovations LLP (Astana).

He does not hold additional positions on a part-time basis. Does not own shares in affiliated organizations.
